Summer Mango cocktail recipes to try out

Summer is almost inclined with mangoes—the king of Indian fruit that can be used in a multitude of recipes. From juices, desserts to even cocktails, your have your pick!

Today, we are sharing with you three absolutely lip smacking cocktail recipes, that'll help you forget the heat woes.


Indian Summer By Saby Monteiro, Bartender, The Living Room Beach Resort, Goa

Ingredients

60 ml vodka 2-3 tbsp fresh mango pieces 6-8 mint leaves 1 inch ginger piece 20 ml sugar syrup 15 ml fresh lime juice A few sprigs of mint for garnishing


Instructions

  1. Add vodka, fresh mangoes pieces, mint leaves, ginger, sugar syrup and lime juice along with a few ice cubes in a blender.

  2. Blend until well combined.

  3. Pour into a margarita glass and serve frozen, garnished with a mint sprig.



MannyGo Margarita From Maanav Dev, Partner, Rudy's Bar & Grill, Goa

Ingredients

45 ml vodka 60 ml mango juice 15 ml triple sec 1 small green chili (deseeded)


Instructions

  1. Blend everything together in a mixer along with ice cubes.

  2. Strain and pour into a margarita glass.

  3. Garnish with fresh mango or a green chili.



Chiang Mai From Satish Shetty, Mixologist, Nara Colaba

Ingredients


60 ml white rum 30 ml litchi juice 20 ml lime juice 15 ml sugar syrup 4 kaffir lime leaves 6-8 fresh mango chunks 3 lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Add white rum, lychee juice, lime juice and sugar syrup in a shaker.

  2. Add chunks of mango, lime wedges and some torn kaffir lime leaves.

  3. Shake well and pour into a tall pilsner glass.

  4. Garnish with mango puree and a leaf of kafir lime.
